Make sure you go abroad under the protection of a reputable and professional Au Pair Agency. If you do, you can be certain that your agency will protect you and will ensure that you are well treated by your Host Family or will find you a new one if necessary.
If you do not register with a good Au Pair Agency, you may find yourself in trouble in a foreign country and with no one to help you.
Never trust a family that asks you to go as an Au Pair with them without informing your Agency.
Trust in your Agency and try to keep in touch with them; inform them of all little or big problems that might arise, if the Host Family is friendly with you or if they do not treat you well, etc..Your Agency only will be able to help you if you keep them informed. At the same time, you will be helping your Agency to keep good families as its clients and to get rid of those do not treat well their Au Pair.
We recommend that when you finish your stay with your Host Family, you ask for a reference letter.
If you decide to terminate your relationship with PREMIER AU PAIRS, you should notify so in writing, stating your name and specifying that you are an Au Pair.
PREMIER AU PAIRS reserves the right to use their discretion in any situation involving issues not covered in these pages.
