The Host Family will provide the Au Pair with full board and own room. If it were not possible to provide her with her own bathroom, it is better to allow her to share the children’s bathroom.
At least the Au Pair should have in her room: bed, some storage space for her clothes, a desk or table where she can work, radio/CD player and alarm clock. It will be most appreciate to provide the Au Pair’s room with a TV set, which will give her the choice to choose programs she can understand better.
It will be appreciated if children regard the Au Pair’s room as “private “ and they are asked not to get into without permission.
